Not much is new. They drew some fluid from around Suzy's right lung this morning to help her breathe, but it promptly returned. She has also become resistant to eating and drinking, so she has not taken her meds in a couple days. Tomorrow I will have to inform her of the consequences of refusing food and fluids. On the bright side, she was more lucid today, even cracking wise with the nurse.

For my part, all I can say is that these are very long days indeed. To everyone on our Christmas Card list, I have to apologize that you will not be receiving anything from us in the mail this year.
